ZESTY, FLORAL, PERFECT.

If ever there was a blend to champion the region of Portugal, it is El Campeón, a white blend made from two grapes native to the region. Fernão Pires dominates the blend, bringing an intense bouquet of honeysuckle, peach, and lime. Branco Arinto finishes the blend with zippy acidity and notes of chamomile, grapefruit, and lemon.

Together, they make a wine that is light, dry, and balanced by citrus and flowers.

PORTUGAL HAS OVER 200 INDIGENOUS GRAPES.

That’s a lot of grapes - but El Campeón only needs two to make the easy drinking, endlessly refreshing white wine that is bound for afternoon sipping. Winemakers in Portugal are truly the underdog of the European countries; while other countries plant French varieties like Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc, Portugal remains true to itself, cultivating indigenous grapes that you can only find in the land of seafood and beach hangs.

PAIR IT WITH BRIGHT, HERBAL DISHES.

El Campeón is bright and colorful—the possibilities are endless. We suggest pouring a glass to accompany tarragon chicken salad, a steamy bowl of phó, herbed feta dip, or Thai salad and cilantro dressing.
